Who we are

Character Options Limited is part of The Character Group plc the business of which was founded in 1991. The Character Group plc is an AIM listed company and one of the UK’s leading toy companies.  It is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and international distribution of a wide range of toys, games and playthings.   Many of the Group’s products feature or are based on popular film, television, comic and digital characters, reproduced under licence from the brand owners.  The Group now has offices in London, Manchester, Denmark, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and China and employs over 200 people.

The Character Group companies manufacture and distribute household brands such as Heroes of Goo Jit Zu, Simbrix, ChillFactor, Doctor Who, Flying Heroes, Teletubbies and Ben and Holly. The group is also the exclusive UK distributor for brands such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fingerlings, Shimmer N’ Sparkle, Mash’ems, LankyBox, and Aphmau.
